7 Minutes ’til Heaven: Krewe du Poux Afterparty (NOLA!)

Here are the GlitterGuts portrait booth photos from the Krewe du Poux afterparty 7 Minutes Til Heaven at the Allways Lounge. The Krewe du Poux is a dope art parade that leaves out of the Bywater, full of bikes, drums, puppets, costumes, contraptions, and horns. This year also featured the Bumper Cart Ball, which was kind of like Spartacus and kind of like The Warriors, only with shopping carts. DJs Rusty Lazer and DirtyFinger spun the afterparty, which featured performances by bounce queens Big Freedia and Katey Red, plus a range of bands that covered everything from punk to ragtime. Also there were clowns.
