Mainframe’s first party at Beauty Bar was like a fashion soundclash, bringing out all variety of seapunks, tropic goths, hipsters, blipsters, and assorted other fashionable art-damaged weirdos (and because it was Beauty Bar, a couple dozen girls from bachelorette parties, doing their best to get down to, say, Aphex Twin’s “Windowlicker”). Music was provided by Teen Witch, Supreme Cuts, The Drum, Sich Mang, Ultrademon and more; Zombelle, Molly Soda, and Clairey Peary hosted, and weirdness was guaranteed.
