Porn and Chicken: Banger Bootcamp

Porn and Chicken‘s Banger Bootcamp had all the things you’ve come to expect from the Porn and Chicken Dance Party: smut on the tv, gratuitous nudity on the dance floor, and… chicken. This week, however, the theme was boot camp and everything was kicked up a notch to match it.
Instead of the usual smut, a distracting barrage of vintage porn that’s usually more funny than sexy (derail: especially on Evil Olive’s POORLY COLOR CALIBRATED TVS that make all the performers look a little bit like hairy martians), BLEEPKTCH was on hand to do a live video remix that added a lot of neon greens and pinks and electric blues to the old porn, which gave it the choppy erratic look of an animated .gif or a glitching 8-bit videogame. I don’t know if that description makes what they were doing sound good, but that’s what I was trying to say. It was still porn, but the intensity of the people fucking was tempered by the silliness of the remix, and the pacing fit a lot better to dubstep.
Also on hand, in addition to hosts/drill sargeants Dom, Mandi, and Chris Miranda, plus resident djs Macabre Monster, J-Sephora, and Orvtronixxx, were guest DJs Evan the Annihilist (happy birthday) and Dani Deahl. Even the chicken was spiced up a bit with guest sponsor Hot Temper Hot Sauce giving out samples. Would it be dumb to say that they were remixing the chicken? Yes? Fuck it, I don’t care, that’s what they were doin.
