This year, we were excited to back at Lollapalooza, shooting photos for Fender Guitars at their fan oasis right by Buckingham Fountain in the middle of the festival grounds. Outside of air conditioning and a smorgasbord of swag, there was a silent soundstation with half a dozen classic Fender guitars and bases plugged into a wall of pedals and headphones, and our own photobooth, where people were invited to grab an instrument and demonstrate their rock’n’roll rage faces. Congratulations to our Chicago famo Kid Color, DJ Zebo, and JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound for making their big stage Lollapalooza debuts, and much love to Fender for giving us an opportunity to see some of our favorites like Die Antwoord, Frank Ocean, and Nadastrom, plus rare reunion sets from Black Sabbath and At The Drive-In!
