Black and White Soul Party

The Black and White Soul Party was the second edition of our Time Traveler’s Ball series, a kinda-sorta fancy dress party with a theme of “formalwear- past, present, and future” and a particular focus on soul (from its roots in doo-wop to its antecedents in funk, hip hop, and house).
There was a live performance from Dirty Diamonds (who Veronica from Creamteam recently described as “lo-fi doo-wop”), plus DJ sets from Black Automatic, British Knights, Rebel! Rebel!, and Maddjazz. Special thanks to Mr. Bobby for providing some equipment last minute, and to Old Style for sponsoring the event.
