Dusty Grooves at Cobra Lounge

Dusty Grooves is probably my favorite weekly running event in Chicago right now, a night of garage, soul, and the occasional funk jam from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. It’s a bunch of beautiful, tattooed people dolled up to the 8’s (cuz, c’mon, it’s Thursday, no time to get dressed to the nines AND get down), twisting, boogie-ing, and occasionally conga-lining. Music was provided by Johnny Walker with special guests Angry Changalas. This was our first time shooting the party, and I hope it becomes a regular thing.
