Radical Dilemma with Rebel Diaz and BBU

Posted on November 29th, 2013 by eric

Rebel Diaz is a rad group of Chilean-American political rappers who expatriated from Chicago to the Bronx about a decade ago. Until now, I was only familiar with them through guest spots and collabos with friends but I finally got to check em out live when they came back to their hometown for their Radical Dilemma release party at Wicker Park’s fantastic gallery/community/performance space MultiKulti. The show featured a reunion of BBU, playing their first show in over a year, along with aztec dancers, poetry, house music, juke, and a lot of hiphop. The backdrop, provided by the gallery, was fashioned from an art installation by a dude named Emmanuel, and, as soon as I get more info on him, I’ll provide a link.
