Spandexxx with Lauren Flax

If Rocktapussy ever wanted to change the name of this night, they could consider Girls Behaving Badly, or perhaps Hot Chicks Behaving Badly, or even Really Really Well Dressed Girls Behaving Badly. All those names are kinda trite, and kinda reminiscent of an old Rob Schneider TV show (okay, maybe I’m the only one who remembers that show), but they’re apt.
I’ve never seen so many really, really well dressed girls getting sloppy dunk, stripping each other down, getting into fights and throwing bottles at the wall. I guess part of the credit goes to Tito’s vodka for hosting a bar early on in the night.
Like I said with the End of the World Dance Party, I need to write these things sooner, or at least not after a three-day rave/road trip in Detroit. Outside of the zanyness with the hot chicks (which resulted in some woman lecturing me on being some sort of exploitative, Joe-Francis-from-Girls Gone Wild-type horrible person), I don’t really remember much of the night.
Early on in her set, Mother Hubbard spun a track pairing Beyonce with Eazy E (“Single Ladies / Shut the Fuck UP”), then Vyle did a live set while someone jumped around in a polar bear costume (it later stripped down to reveal a hot chick, natch), DJ A-Cup and Just Desserts rocked sets, followed by Lauren Flax, who was back in town from New York to debut her new single “You’ve Changed”.
