Cirque Du Risque presents the Tampa Bay Steampunk Ball

The Tampa Bay Steampunk Ball, put on by Cirque Du Risque at Ybor City’s famous Castle Nightclub is a thing to behold. Hosted by Gen of the Genitorturers, the event featured an electroswing ball upstairs (courtesy of Vourteque, who we hitched a ride with down south) and an industrial VIP sex dungeon downstairs (with music provided by Pigface alum Curse Mackey). There were pedal-powered deathmobiles, aerial artists, cyberpunk gogo dancers, burlesque and grinder acts, and kinky contests for the best merkins and mustaches. At different times, in different corners of the club (literally, a big gothic castle in the middle of boystown), you could experience an alternate universe version of the 1980s, the 1890s, or the 1920s.
