The Max

The Max is a new ’90s-centric dance party at Beauty Bar. The inaugural event featured Fresh Prince of Bel Air-era fashions by Lipstick Dinosaur, a pop-up salon by Kelly Cardenas (if you’re reading this stoned, please click the Kelly Cardenas link to watch their little cartoon mascot run across the screen, it’s kind of amazing), and dj sets by Gemini Club, Team Bayside High, and Flosstradamus’ Autobot, who was kicking ass with some really unexpected juxtapositions like Len’s “Steal My Sunshine” into Rammstein’s “Du Hast”.
