World Naked Bike Ride (10th Anniversary in Chicago!)

Hey everybody, we just shot Chicago’s World Naked Bike Ride for the fifth year in a row! The first time I went to World Naked Bike Ride, which was a good two years before we started shooting it, the staging and preparation area was in the back yard of a West Town house and now, in it’s tenth year, the event has grown to the point where 1000+ people can be expected to show up in various states of undress even in super gloomy wet windy shitty weather (which is what, the weather 3 out of every 4 years?)! We decided to bring a big paper roll and some spraypaint and let people design their own backdrop. Outside of the fact that it was pretty much an easily ripped windsail that we had to weigh down in a million places, I liked the look, although I was shocked and saddened that there were no crude doodles of cocks, balls, boobs, and butts. Just when you think you know a set of people.
