Zombie Prom Chicago 2010

Posted on May 22nd, 2010 by admin

The zombie prom is an annual event put together by Zombie Army Productions, the group behind the Chicago-centric b-movie The Mole Man of Belmont Avenue, the Statesville Haunted Prison and City of the Dead, and a number of other like-minded horror projects.

As cool as it was seeing undead zombies, mad scientists strapped with jetpacks, seaweed-covered drowning victims, and a bunch of absolutely grotesque, drunken zombies furiously making out on the dance floor, the highlight of my night is when an evil clown proposed to his girlfriend in our photobooth and she said yes (needless to say, they one prom king and queen).

VJ Brinkman provided the visuals, DJ Moptop played the booty jams, and Trash Martini served as the high school cover band, playing a set of cheesy 80s pop songs that would have made John Hughes proud.

All the GlitterGuts portrait booth pictures from the night can be found below. Right-click on any image to download it, and shoot us an email if you’re interested in ordering prints or high-res photos
